October has been, overall, a great month. It was my month birthday, so I had tons and tons of fun. The only problem is that my depression also wanted to be a part of the party and joined me at the end of the month to… well, it hasn’t left yet. But I’m working on it and I don’t want to let it ruin my life like it used to do, so here I am, still fighting! And that’s mostly why I still think October has been great, because I’m stronger than ever.
Anyway, here is my wrap-up for my birthday and the spookiest month, October!
Ps: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR BEING 500 HERE!!!!

October is my far my favourite month of the year. It may be because I was born in October (it’s Libra season!), but I always loved the ambiance of it. Halloween is my everything and I live for those cold and rainy mornings, the dead leaves on the ground, the sweaters you can wear and so on. Obviously I had to make myself a special TBR for the month, alongside some books I want/need to buy. (Those aren’t all the books I want to read this month, just some which are extra spooky!)
So here are some books on my spooky TBR for the month of October!

A few weeks ago I told you I was taking a short break to focus on my exams and to relax a bit. This break ended up lasting quite a few more weeks. I would have blogged but as I don’t have a computer anymore (I am saving money to buy myself a new one) I can’t blog from home and have to wait for my lunch breaks at work, which means that I’m not always in the mood for it. Anyhow, this time I pushed myself to sit down and to write my October wrap-up as I did many things this month and need to sort it all out.
So without further ado, let’s jump right into what my October was made of! 🍂

“October extinguished itself in a rush of howling winds and driving rain and November arrived, cold as frozen iron, with hard frosts every morning and icy drafts that bit at exposed hands and faces.”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
October came and went by quickly and slowly at the same time. As it is my favourite month of the year, I was waiting for many things during it. It was my birthday, my best friend’s birthday, Halloween and I had a concert. I felt as if I was constantly waiting for something but at the same time everything happened too fast. However, for once, I made out the best of every day. My birthday was the best one I had so far, even though it had been disappointing for a part, and I had a lot of fun for Halloween.
October was still a hard month for me. My mental health has been at its worse and I kept feeling bad. I didn’t know what to do and let the sadness consumed me without realising it. I also went to the doctor and the whole thing made me feel both good and bad. I am not gonna lie – it was hard. But I made it and I can say that today I am working on getting better.

I cannot believe that it finally is October. You may not know, but it actually is my favourite month of the year. As for someone who hates the heat and who is literally allergic to the sun (I swear, I am a nightmare), Autumn is my paradise. Seeing all the leaves on the floor, being able to wear my sweaters again, walking home while it’s dark outside and working with the sound of the rain make me more than happy and I now feel alive again. In a few days, it’ll be my birthday then Halloween and I can’t wait to properly enjoy this month.
This year, however, October is even more special to me, and it’s because I’m participating in #Victober.

“Autumn seemed to arrive suddenly that year. The morning of the first September was crisp and golden as an apple.”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I feel as if September lasted way too long― my anxiety was at its worst, I had several financial problems, something happened at my job which made me feel extremly bad and going back to university reminded me that it was my last year and that I was basically about to play my whole future. In a few words, let’s say that September didn’t go so well.
