I have always been someone who loved the rain. I have so many amazing memories with it, but especially with my grandma who passed away almost a year ago. She was the only person in my family who loved the rain as much as I do and we would always curl up together next to her fire place with a big blanket and a cup of hot chocolate. She would always say that we were the same person because of it, and I have never stopped loving the rain.
Unlike many people I even like being outside when it’s raining. It sure can be annoying but I love the sound and the smell of it – as long as I have an umbrella I am totally okay with it. Obviously I prefer being indoors, so that’s why I’ll present you today my five favourite things to do on a rainy day.

It feels so weird to blog again. Do I have the time to do so? Not really. But I still want to take it because I miss it. I can’t say I’m fully back because my life is pretty hectic at the moment and I don’t know if I will ever have the time to write enough blog posts before responsabilities start catching me up again, but here I am nonetheless.
Anyway, I am back today with another wrap-up post!

September has been a tough month: I felt extremely low, got into a reading slump, moved out from our house to a new appartment, am currently a bit sick but have no time to rest and my suicidal thoughts came back, so I have now new meds and tons of appoitments to the hospital to get better. I’m still proud of me because I didn’t stop trying to get better no matter what and here I am today, ready to welcome my favourite month of the year: October. 🎃🍂🌧
October means my birthday, my best friend’s birthday, Halloween 👻 and the official return of the autumnal weather, but this year it also means going back to Disneyland Paris, flying to London for a very bookish reason which I can’t wait to tell you all about (it’s very important and is actually the proof that my work is now aknowledged worldwide speaking), band rehearsals, going to le Parc Astérix and the Paris Comic Con, participating in Victober, going to a pumpkin patch and to the French premiere of Bohemian Rhapsody. I also happen to have extremely important exams on my birthday, but I should be able to survive and do it all.
Before even starting to plan October, let’s recap all the things that happened to me during September.

I have been on this blog for a while now, years even, being active for a few months then disappearing before starting it all over again and again. I started it with another theme, talking about books in a different way, then I decided to change and to add colours, pictures, banners and more. I begun by only posting and doing nothing else, only seeing it as an extansion of my Instagram account before realising that the book blog community existed too and that I could connect with people here as well. I have been making plans for it, then stopped posting because life was too much sometimes and I had too little time.
Despite everything, despite all my changes of heart, despite all of my breaks and turns, I reached 300 followers a few weeks ago and for that I need to thank you.
I know that I am not the most amazing blogger – if I don’t have the time to write I don’t post and I don’t always take the time to comment under other blog posts or to read every thing that has been posted during the week. I want to be involved more but sometimes life is in my way and I can’t take a day off to blog and everything. But even though I am all that, even though I am not active enough and don’t always know what to do around here, you are always here commenting under my posts, liking them and following me. I even receive messages on Instagram about it. And trust me, it warms my heart.
So thank you. Thank you for all your kind words about my work, for all your comments, messages, likes and follows. Thank you for being so nice and caring. Thank you for recognising that I do work a lot on this blog, even though I’m not always here. Thank you for always having something nice to say and for being such an amazing community. Thank you for being more than 300 people who are willing to read what I have to say twice a week. Thank you for being here for me, always.
This is a very brief blog post, only meant as a big thank you. I hope that you all see how much this means to me. I’m not the type of person who cares about followers, but it still makes me happy to see that so many of you are taking some time of their day to read a piece of my life. This blog is like a journal of my journey here on Earth, and I’m more than happy to share it with every single one of you.
We all love this feeling when we are leaving the office or our last class on a Friday evening, excited to go home and to be free for two whole days. I am not an exception: I love weekends, and I’m always trying to make the most of it. So today I thought I’ll share some hapiness with you by discusting what are my favourite things to do on a weekend!
