How I track my reading 📊📚

thebookwormofnotredame-4.png

Dear reader,

I haven’t always tracked my reading. When I was a child I would just read and that was it. But as I grew up I tended to be more careful about it, so in 2013 I joined Goodreads for example. And then I joined the book community and learned about more ways to do so, such as spreadsheets or reading journals. As a huge stats nerd, obviously I had to give it all a try.

That’s why I’m here today to tell you about all the different ways I track my reading monthly and annually!

 The plot

Meet Pepper, swim team captain, chronic overachiever, and all-around perfectionist. Her family may be falling apart, but their massive fast-food chain is booming — mainly thanks to Pepper, who is barely managing to juggle real life while secretly running Big League Burger’s massive Twitter account.

Enter Jack, class clown and constant thorn in Pepper’s side. When he isn’t trying to duck out of his obscenely popular twin’s shadow, he’s busy working in his family’s deli. His relationship with the business that holds his future might be love/hate, but when Big League Burger steals his grandma’s iconic grilled cheese recipe, he’ll do whatever it takes to take them down, one tweet at a time.

All’s fair in love and cheese — that is, until Pepper and Jack’s spat turns into a viral Twitter war. Little do they know, while they’re publicly duking it out with snarky memes and retweet battles, they’re also falling for each other in real life — on an anonymous chat app Jack built.

As their relationship deepens and their online shenanigans escalate — people on the internet are shipping them?? — their battle gets more and more personal, until even these two rivals can’t ignore they were destined for the most unexpected, awkward, all-the-feels romance that neither of them expected.

Three books to read this winter (part 3) | To read more classics 🌨✨

thebookwormofnotredame-2.png

Dear reader,

I am back with my last part of my winter recommendations! For every season I recommend a few books, each separated in three parts. I did it for summer (contemporary, fantasy and classics), autumn (cosy, spooky and academic moods) and now I did it with winter. The first part was about books to read on a snow day and the second part was about books to read to feel joyful!

Now I’m here with the third and final part: three books to read this winter if you want to read more classics!

My 2020 bookish resolutions 🌟📔

thebookwormofnotredame-6.png

Dear reader,

Every year I like to set myself some new goals, especially when it comes to my reading life. I always look back to what I read, what I loved, what I learned, in order to do something different in the next year. I’m not one who love to set resolutions for herself because I know I’ll barely ever get to them during the year, but when it comes to my bookish life I’m 100% up for it.

That’s why today I’ll present you my bookish resolutions for 2020!

December wrap-up, favourites and others 🌟

Dear reader,

I feel as if December lasted forever but I’m grateful for it as I did many, many, many things. I won’t talk too much about the end of the year because my 2019 recap post is coming next week, but I’m overall really happy about it and am so glad to write my last wrap-up of 2019. I can’t believe I’ve been blogging actively for a year now and writing wrap-ups are always my favourites as I love to re-read them and remind myself of all the amazing things I discovered or did or read.

December has been overall a great month, though I started it being extra sick and then the strikes in France started and it was all a mess, but I changed it around and had a lot of fun in the end!

Without further ado, here is my December 2019 wrap-up!

Three books to read this winter (part 2) | To feel joyful 🌨🎄

thebookwormofnotredame-4.png

Dear reader,

I am back with my recommendations for Winter! I know I’m a bit late, I haven’t posted in a while and I don’t really have any excuses. I’ve been very busy and somehow very anxious, which prevented me from doing anything. Writing this I’m still anxious but I wanted to force myself to do something in hope to get me out of this mess. So, I’m back!

Without further ado, here are three books to read this winter to feel joyful!
