Summer is going to be quite different this year because COVID-19. Here in France, we are allowed to travel, especially in our own country. Like every year in August I’m leaving for a month in Corsica to see some members of my family (it’s a French island), so I’ll be doing lots of traveling as we have 9-10 hours of road to get to the South of France, a night spent on a boat to get to Corsica and then a 3-4 hours of road again to reach our village in the mountains.
If like me you’ll travel a bit for the summer, here are three books to read (or listen! we love audiobooks while traveling in this house!) while hitting the road.
Ps: Click here to read part I (to read on the beach) and part II (to read on a rainy summer day)!

In a week I will be in Corsica, enjoying my summer with my family and some family’s friends. I’m really excited to go this year because I do feel the need for a month long break, away from all of my responsibilities (though I’m bringing my computer because work never stops when you’re a teacher). Obviously I asked myself… “But what books am I bringing with me for three weeks at the beach?”
Well, here are all of the books I would want to get to while in Corsica, otherwise known as my summer TBR!

I am back with our seasonal book recommendations! If you want to see more blog posts about it (as I’ve been doing it for a year now), check out the menu and click on “Recommendations” where you’ll find all of the past ones.
For summer 2020, I decided to go with moods instead of genres. That’s why I already recommended you three books to read on the beach.
Now it’s time to talk about those books you can read while it’s hot but pouring outside! (Because yes, rainy days are still a thing and you will need something to make the time going by faster.)
