Five tv shows I want to start soon 🎬💻

Dear reader,

I used to watch a lot of tv shows. At one point in my life I was watching as many tv shows as I was reading books. But with my studies becoming harder and my passion for books becoming more and more important I started to watch less series, stopping watching some I followed for years and ended up not making it a priority. It now takes me forever to start a new show, and even longer to finish it. Though I don’t necessarily want to change it in 2020 I still found new tv shows I’m interested in started hopefully soon, and that I wanted to share with you all.

Without further ado here are five tv shows that I want to start watching soon-ish!

Recommending one book for every musicals I loved in 2019 🎼📒

Dear reader,

As you know, I am a huge fan of musicals and overall of Broadway. It has been a part of me for many, many, many years and I always look out for more musicals to listen to. 2019 has been a great year and I ended up with four new favourites, which I’ll now talk about a bit more, and one I always loved but have been listening to a lot in last year. But after all, I am a book blogger…

So that’s why I’ll be recommending one book which is in some ways similar to each musicals I loved back in 2019!

(I listened to many more, some old favs as well, some new ones, but those five are the ones that I immediately think of when someone asks me what did I love listening to last year.)

How I track my reading 📊📚

Dear reader,

I haven’t always tracked my reading. When I was a child I would just read and that was it. But as I grew up I tended to be more careful about it, so in 2013 I joined Goodreads for example. And then I joined the book community and learned about more ways to do so, such as spreadsheets or reading journals. As a huge stats nerd, obviously I had to give it all a try.

That’s why I’m here today to tell you about all the different ways I track my reading monthly and annually!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

 The plot

Meet Pepper, swim team captain, chronic overachiever, and all-around perfectionist. Her family may be falling apart, but their massive fast-food chain is booming — mainly thanks to Pepper, who is barely managing to juggle real life while secretly running Big League Burger’s massive Twitter account.

Enter Jack, class clown and constant thorn in Pepper’s side. When he isn’t trying to duck out of his obscenely popular twin’s shadow, he’s busy working in his family’s deli. His relationship with the business that holds his future might be love/hate, but when Big League Burger steals his grandma’s iconic grilled cheese recipe, he’ll do whatever it takes to take them down, one tweet at a time.

All’s fair in love and cheese — that is, until Pepper and Jack’s spat turns into a viral Twitter war. Little do they know, while they’re publicly duking it out with snarky memes and retweet battles, they’re also falling for each other in real life — on an anonymous chat app Jack built.

As their relationship deepens and their online shenanigans escalate — people on the internet are shipping them?? — their battle gets more and more personal, until even these two rivals can’t ignore they were destined for the most unexpected, awkward, all-the-feels romance that neither of them expected.

Three books to read this winter (part 3) | To read more classics 🌨✨

Dear reader,

I am back with my last part of my winter recommendations! For every season I recommend a few books, each separated in three parts. I did it for summer (contemporary, fantasy and classics), autumn (cosy, spooky and academic moods) and now I did it with winter. The first part was about books to read on a snow day and the second part was about books to read to feel joyful!

Now I’m here with the third and final part: three books to read this winter if you want to read more classics!

My 2019 wrap-up 💫🔙

Dear reader,

2019 has been quite a year for me. If I have to look back at it in its entirety I can clearly see that the first six months of the year were somewhere near awful to me, whereas the last six months were the most amazing months of my life. In the end, I changed a lot this year and my life looks nothing like the one I had back in January 2019.

Because I am nostalgic and because I want to keep memories of this past year, I decided to write a massive wrap-up of 2019.
