If you have been following me for a while, you may know that I adore Christmas movies. But when I say that, I mean I love all kind of Christmas movies, including the bad and cheesy ones. I often saw people saying they love cheesy Christmas movies but then hating on some because they were too bad… but I truly love those. I love when Brenda, the famous journalist from NYC, ends up in a little town because her car broke down and she is forced to stay at Sam’s B&B for a while, where they fall in love and she understands the true meaning of Christmas. I love bad scenarios, bad scripts, bad filming and so on. I love Christmas movies, whether they’re super duper good or awfully bad.
Therefor, here are the Christmas movies I cannot wait to watch this season!
What it’s about: Sloane and Jackson hate being single on holidays where they face constant judgment from their meddling families. So, when these two strangers meet, they pledge to be each other’s “holidate” for every festive occasion in the year ahead. via IMDb
Why I want to watch it: Fake dating for Christmas? Count me in! As soon as I saw the trailer I knew I wanted to watch it. We obviously know how it’ll end, but it seems to be so much fun. It already came out, but I’m waiting for the perfect occasion to watch it. (Now that it’s live, I actually watched it and it was a tad too trashy for me, but it was fun at least!)
❥ The Princess Switch: Switched Again
What it’s about: When Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro and hits a rough patch with Kevin, it’s up to her double Stacy to save the day before a new lookalike, party girl Fiona foils their plans. via IMDb
Why I want to watch it: I may have loved every Christmas movies ever made when two characters who look the same switch their place, so obviously I adored the one starring Vanessa Hudgens and obviously I have been dying to watch the sequel ever since they announced it forever ago.
❥ Dash and Lily
What it’s about: A whirlwind holiday romance builds as cynical Dash and optimistic Lily trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations all across New York City. via IMDb
Why I want to watch it: So this is a tv show, but I still wanted to include it. I read the book last year in December and enjoyed it a lot, though I think it’ll be even better to watch. The trailer looks so promising, so I have great hopes for it and I adore Christmassy tv shows! (Ever since I wrote this, I have watched it and enjoyed it very much!)
And that’s all!
What about you? Do you love Christmas movies?
