Three books to read this spring | Part II: fantasy novels πŸŒΏπŸ“—

Dear reader,

Spring is very different this year, as the whole world is in lockdown. Even though I cannot enjoy the blooming trees in Paris and drinking iced coffee near the Seine, I still like to match my books to the season we’re currently living. That’s why I am back with another seasonal recommendation posts.

Without further ado, here are three fantasy books to read this spring.

β₯Β The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’Neill

I read this short graphic novel last month and completely fell in love with it. I now want to read all the books in the series, and have a tea dragon myself. The drawings, the story… Everything is soft and cute and perfect for spring. Prepare to fall into the most adorable world you could ever find, paired with pastel colours and diverse characters.

β₯Β The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black

I read this one last spring, so this may be why I am recommending it. I really enjoyed this book and it made me think of a forgotten fairytale. If you are looking for something dark and whimsical to read while it’s raining, you may want to check this one out.

β₯Β Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

Who doesn’t want to read about a war between angels and chimeras during spring? This story is absolutely beautiful and Laini Taylor’s writing style will make any day look more magic. I still need to read the conclusion to this trilogy, but I would highly recommend it.

And that’s it!

What fantasy books would you recommend me to read for spring?

Love always,
