Before jumping onto this blog post I wanted to take the time to thank Marie and Alexandra who both nominated me for some Book Blogger Awards categories! It feels surreal to have people enjoying what I’m doing here, I truly find myself a new passion next to Instagram with this blog and I’m incredibly happy to see that you all seem to enjoy it too. So a big thank you to everyone and to those two amazing bloggers!
Now, let’s jump right in into the second part of my summer recommendations and let’s talk fantasy!

In a week I’ll be leaving for Corsica, where my family comes from, and for the first time in forever I’ll be staying there for three whole weeks. After everything that happened and changed in my life I felt the need to take the time to unwind there, and I honestly can’t wait. Like I did during Autumn, I then established a short summer bucket list for myself. Here it is!

I missed the opportunity to present a little reading summer guide last year, so here it is. In this series I will present you five books from three different genres which I believe are great for summer (contemporary, fantasy and classics).

I have never been the kind of girl to love summer. As a baby I used to be terrified of water (my parents told me it was impossible to make me take a bath and that I would scream even when they went into the sea) and then I started to dislike the heat as a teenager. Eventually I started being okay with everything that made summer: the heat, the sea, mostly ice creams and more. For once I actually am excited about it and to enjoy every second of it! And to do so I obviously made myself a small TBR.
So here are five books I want to read this summer! ☀🌊🍦

June has been intense. I had to study non-stop for my competition to become a literature teacher (I’ll have the results this week and I am terrified) (I JUST GOT THE NEWS AND I PASSED!!! I AM A LITERATURE TEACHER!!!) and that’s mostly all I did. I stopped watching tv shows because of it, I haven’t read a lot – I just studied and tried to calm my anxiety and depression. I did go out a few times but that was it.
I’m really glad that this month is over because it has been so challenging and I hope that July will be full of good news! No matter what, July means the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, of the third season of Stranger Things and my departure to London for YALC 2019!
So let’s finally wrap-up June! 🌞
