November wrap-up, favourites and other ❄

Dear reader,

I know that I disappeared once again. The truth is that my computer stopped working around the summer and ever since I have been blogging on my work computer during my lunch breaks, which became very tiring. I should be buying myself a new computer after Christmas so until then, please bear with me!

Even though I can’t blog a lot I still wanted to wrap-up my month of November!

WHAT I READ

November has been the month during which I officially came out from the reading slump. It has been lasting for months and I’m so glad to finally be out of it, reading tons of books once again.

Here is what I read during November:

  • Six issues of the Amazing Spider-Man, over all 3.5/5 stars
  • The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, 4/5 stars
  • Archenemies by Marissa Meyer, 5/5 stars

WHAT I LOVED

  • Studying

Okay, it sure wasn’t my favourite thing every day but I still enjoyed it from time to time and I studied a way more lot this month than before. I’m really proud of myself for doing it and really trying to succeed this year. I can’t wait to become a successful teacher next year.

  • Staying at home

November made me feel so much better regarding me grieving, and I am now at a stage where I want to stay at home and take care of myself and spend some times with my family. All the calm is really making me feel good and that’s something that I’ll definitely do more often. I am always running or doing something, I also deserve some times for myself.

  • The Crimes of Grindelwald premiere

My friend Lucie is a huge, huge, huge fan of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and of Eddie, and I promised her we would find a way to go to the worldwide premiere in Paris. Well, we did and it was amazing. We had an amazing time, it was incredible to share that with her and we even spent the day shopping at the Harry Potter pop shop at les Galleries Lafayette. It was the best day of the month!

  • Disneyland

As I have an annual pass my friends and I decided to spend a day at Disneyland to see the Christmas decorations and it was amazing! We always have an incredible time there and even though it rained in the morning it was still magical and everything we needed it to be.

  • My internship

This was definitely my highlight of the month, and maybe of the year. I had to spend two weeks in a highschool to follow a literature teacher and it really reassured me that it truly is what I want to do with my life. It was amazing and I loved everything about it. I miss the kids terribly and I can’t wait to become a professor of my own.

  • Mamma Mia singalong

My friends and I went to the movies to rewatch Mamma mia, but the singalong version, and it was AMAZING. Finally I could dance and sing while watching it on the big screen and it felt way too good!

  • The Office

During November I started watching the Office and I am finishing the fourth season at the moment. At first I was very embarassed while watching it because it’s all weird and seems way too real, but I fell in love with Jim and kept watching it and now I am fully into it. I can’t wait to finish it!

  • Salon du livre et de la presse jeunesse

And finally during November my friends and I went to the inauguration of a book fair and it was so much fun, even though we didn’t stay long this year. It felt so good to be back and I kinda regret not staying longer this year, so I’ll definitely take more time for it next year! I missed book fairs so much.

CHECKING ON MY NOVEMBER GOALS

I almost completed all my goals this month! I definitely read more than ten books, I kept studying and even enjoyed it, I took new pictures and some time for myself. Although I haven’t got back to blogging I still saved a bit of money, even though it still isn’t enough. It’s still all good!

WHAT I WANT TO DO IN DECEMBER

Here are my new goals for December:

  • Save more money,
  • Enjoy Christmas,
  • Study well for my finals.

And here we go! November was a great month, and it feels so good to say it. It still was filled with its sad moments but that’s life after all. I’m very grateful to be alive and to be able to enjoy every little things.

What did you do in November? What did you read? Tell me all!

Love always,

Clara
